 The HostUtopia Network:
Our robust dual network infrastructure ensures maximum uptime and superior performance for our Web Hosting Technology Network. HostUtopia provides a vast array of solutions to provide you with the connectivity, bandwidth and stability you can’t find anywhere else. HostUtopia’s architecture utilizes the Enterprise routing and switching engines from Juniper and Cisco. We utilize Juniper M20 routers as border routers, Cisco 6500 series switches in our distribution layer and Cisco 6500 switches in our aggregation layers, and Cisco 3500 and 2900 series switches at the customer layer. Our network is fully meshed and redundant with 4 backbone providers for a total of 27 Gbps of available bandwidth.
Backups – Server and Network
Our Network Operations Center includes a 5x20TB Network Storage Devices to store full backups of all data in our server racks, the best web hosting technology available. cPanel first makes incremental backups of all your files on the same drive as your data, incrementing 1/7 days, 4/4 weeks for 28 days. You can request a backup of your data at any point through your cPanel rolling back any of 7 days prior, any of 4 weeks prior up to 28 days. Each server primary drives is then Raided to another drive (mirrored). This accounts for 4 copies of all your data on the server itself. The Stable Raided Drive is then backed up nightly to the 10TB NAS, accounting for 6 copies of your data at any given time. User Control Panel:
cPanel & WebHost Manager (WHM) is a next generation web hosting technology control panel system. Both cPanel & WHM are extremely feature rich as well as include an easy to use web based interface (GUI).
cPanel (end user control panel) is designed for the end users of the HostUtopia system and allows them to control everything from adding / removing email accounts to administering MySQL databases, eCommerce, security and more.
