What do I get with my account?
We have several plans for you to choose from that are cost effective and more than capable of handling all your domain hosting needs. We don’t charge you a setup fee and all accounts come with many valuable features such as cPanel, SSL Secure Server Access, HU Toolbox aka Fantastico, Mail Manager System, CGI-bin, FTP, Traffic Statistics Software, FrontPage Extensions, RealAudio/RealVideo and more.

What type of Control Panel do I get?

Do I have to register my domain name or do you do that for me?
We can register your domain (www.your_domain_name.com) for you if you do not already have one. YOU will own it! Unlike other web hosting companies, we DO NOT charge you to register your domain name. After your first year, HostUtopia will be your billing agent for your domain registration. HostUtopia will automatically renew your domain for you so there is never a worry of losing your domain name.
You are the owner of your Domain name.
HostUtopia only acts as a registering agent.

How much disk space do I get for my web pages and graphics?

Do you offer secure server space for transferring credit card information?
YES! You may order a SSL Certificate installed on your domain name for $125/yr.
By using the secure server (SSL), the information is encrypted before it is sent. It would be practically impossible for anyone to decrypt it without knowing the key. You DO NOT have to buy a security certificate to enable the secure server.

What is a parked domain name and how much does it cost?
Parked domains are aliases of other domains. For example, say we have mary.com parked to your main account at steve.com. This would mean that anyone who goes to mary.com would automatically go to steve.com. There is no actual hosting involved with mary.com. Mary.com merely acts as a nickname to steve.com. Parked domains are FREE on all accounts.

What kind of technical support do you NOT provide?
We do NOT provide any technical support relating to HTML syntax, Java programming, JavaScripting, any 3rd party software, CGI programming, or CGI scripts, nor any other non-network related aspect. In the event that you submit email pertaining to any of the above. We have included a Webmaster Resources section that will provide you links where you can obtain support outside of the scope of our Technical Support!
Even though we do NOT support the above mentioned, we do in most cases anyway. Our support staff is always a good place to start, we are here to help, always, in any way we can.
